Pequignot Family Genealogy
I became interested in genealogy at a very young age. Probably due to my family blood lines that trace to several Kings of England and France. This page is dedicated to my Mother, Pauline Louise Smith. The family stories that she told me when I was a child promoted intrigue and interest about my ancestors.

While family genealogy is never complete, it is refreshing to reflect upon what has been compiled thus far. My research covers 60 generations, dating to 250 A.D., including several thousand individuals, focusing on the surnames of Pequignot, Thompson, Smith, Staudt, Fleckenstein, Tracy, and Mommer. The majority of these people lived in the states of Indiana, Ohio, New York, and Illinois, U.S.A. Their ancestors emigrated from Germany, England, France, Ireland, and Scotland.
My mother's interest in genealogy has inspired me to make our family information available to the world. See a descendants report of my mother's family, the Smith Family, of New York now living in Indiana.
